Nabih Riyal said Saturday that the inbound tourism
sector in Jordan has not recovered from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic,

Riyal said that the peak of inbound tourism lasts from
the middle of March to the end of May, and then again from September to
November, stressing that 70 percent to 75 percent of tourists come to the
Kingdom in the spring and autumn.
He also stressed that tourism this fall is promising, and
the sector’s revenues will prop the Treasury.
Riyal clarified that Jordanians coming from abroad to the
Kingdom are considered visitors, not tourists.
