Increase in Number of Jordanians Traveling for Tourism by 16.5%

The number of Jordanians traveling abroad for tourism purposes in January reached 159,085, marking an increase of 16.5% compared to the same period last year.اضافة اعلان

According to preliminary official data, the total number of Jordanians leaving the country in January was 159,085, compared to 136,538 in January 2024.

Earlier preliminary data from the Central Bank showed that spending on tourism abroad in January 2025 rose by 29.4%, reaching $184.9 million compared to $142.9 million in the same month of 2024.

In a separate note, the preliminary data from the Central Bank indicated that tourism income also increased in January of this year by 22.8%, reaching $680.5 million, compared to $554.2 million in the same month of 2024.
