In a letter addressed to the
Minister of Health,
Feras Al-Hawari, the federation stated that its withdrawal from the
committee comes in protest against the
Jordan Medical Association's (JMA)
return to escalation through a letter addressed to the International Health
Informatics Company, stipulating the implementation of the
Cooperative Fund and
the new wage scale.
JIF expressed its astonishment at the JMA’s
insistence on implementing a
wage scale that is not officially agreed upon, nor
complies with previously upheld protocol.
The Insurance association hold the
JMA responsible for "placing obstacles in the way of the committee's work
before its meetings commence."
