Amman -The Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (int@j) has announced the opening of submissions for the MENA ICT 2024 Awards for the Middle East and North Africa region.

This prestigious awards program is being launched for the first time as part of the MENA ICT Forum 2024, which is scheduled to take place under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II from November 20-21.
The MENA ICT Forum, first held in 2002, has become the premier event for stakeholders and decision-makers in the ICT sector across the region.
int@j's introduction of the MENA ICT 2024 Awards aims to recognize outstanding achievements and innovations in the ICT field, highlighting companies and organizations that are driving technological advancement in the region.
According to a statement from int@j, the awards are designed to honor pioneering innovations and accomplishments within the ICT sector at the regional level. The MENA ICT 2024 Awards feature three main categories:
1. Impact Award: This award recognizes companies that use technology to create positive and sustainable societal change. It is dedicated to honoring those who contribute to building a more just and sustainable future through innovations that serve humanity in various ways.
2. Technology and Innovation Award: This category focuses on cutting-edge and pioneering technological solutions that are shaping the future of the ICT sector. The award highlights companies that develop new technologies and drive the industry forward, with a focus on innovations that have the potential to transform industries.
3. Industry Award: This award celebrates companies that demonstrate excellence in applying technology across various industrial sectors. It is dedicated to organizations that lead growth and showcase the transformative power of technology in their respective fields, with subcategories focusing on specific industries.
The winners of the MENA ICT 2024 Awards will be announced during the closing session of the MENA ICT Forum on November 21, 2024, in the presence of official representatives, industry leaders, and experts.
Chairman of the Board at Int@j, Eid Amjad Sweis, emphasized that the launch of the MENA ICT 2024 Awards is part of the association's ongoing efforts to promote innovation and excellence in the regional technology sector. He added that these awards provide companies across the region with an opportunity to gain regional recognition for their achievements.
Sweis urged all ICT and tech-enabled companies in the region to apply and participate in this significant event, which aims to showcase the impact of technology in improving societies and enhancing quality of life.
He confirmed that participation is open to all companies and organizations operating in the region and encouraged early submission to ensure their entries are complete and stand out.
