AMMAN — The Information and Communications
Technology Association of Jordan (
Intaj) has completed preparations to hold
its ninth Middle East and North Africa
ICT Forum, on November 16 and 17, at the Dead Sea King Hussein Convention
Center, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The forum will be held in partnership with the
Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, the
Central Bank of Jordan,
and the Ministry of Investment; 77 representatives from 50 investment funds
from the region are expected to participate.
University presidents, faculty members, and students
from 10 public universities, and 154 exhibitors, will present their products
and business solutions.
President of the Royal Scientific Society HRH
Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan will address the event, alongside communications
and information technology ministers from Palestine, Mauritania, Egypt and
Iraq, high-level government officials, and their counterparts from the private
sector, representing 29 countries; a total of 145 Jordanian, international and
Arab speakers are expected to contribute to the conference.
Five Arab and international pavilions will be on
display on the sidelines of the forum’s activities,
In a press statement on Saturday, Intaj said that
the forum will discuss different topics, including artificial intelligence,
financial technology, and smart industries.
Workshops will be held to provide an opportunity for
the region’s
entrepreneurs and startups to enhance the business skills needed
to accelerate their companies’ growth and network with investors and others.
