Interior Minister to Enforce Strict Penalties for Violations in Al-Khirbah Al-Samrah Area

Amman – Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya has announced that severe measures will be taken against those who violate regulations in the Al-Khirbah Al-Samrah area, including administrative detention for individuals damaging water, sewage, and electricity infrastructure, as well as the confiscation of machinery used for illegal basalt extraction.اضافة اعلان

The government will coordinate with the Ministry of Water and Irrigation, Ministry of Energy, and other relevant agencies to address these violations.

The announcement follows the Minister’s visit to the region on Wednesday, where he witnessed the extensive damage caused by a small group of lawbreakers. These acts threaten key infrastructure such as the water treatment plant, high-voltage power lines, and railway tracks, posing serious risks to public safety, the environment, and national resources.
