AMMAN — The Ministry of Interior in Jordan has announced a significant update to its electronic visa program, aimed at making it more accessible for tourists. According to Al-Mamlaka TV, the e-visa is now valid until its final expiry date, instead of the previous two-month limitation.اضافة اعلان

The government's move to expand the validity of its e-visa aims to increase the system's flexibility and improve its facilities for tourists, according to a source.

The e-visa program enables visitors to apply for a digital visa, fill out the application, and pay the fees online.

Multiple entry visasThe electronic visa is a three-month visa, with a fee of JD40 for a single visit to the Kingdom. However, visitors who require multiple entries can now pay JD60 for a second entry, JD120 for a six-month visa, and JD200 for a one-year visa that includes several trips.

Additionally, visitors can pay JD350 for a five-year visa with multiple trips.

The Ministry of Interior's source stated that there benefits of the e-visa. The e-visa program aims to simplify the process of visa applications and payments before arriving in Jordan, reducing congestion at border crossings, and improving the overall travel experience.

Ease at border crossingsUpon arrival in Jordan, visitors can obtain a "bar code" and have their passport stamped after verifying their official documents. This streamlined process enables travelers to bypass lengthy queues at border crossings and reduce waiting times.
