Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Faraya and French Ambassador Alexis Le Cour
Grandmaison discussed means of enhancing cooperation in security fields and the
current regional developments, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

In Sunday’s meeting,
Faraya called for leveraging security expertise to bolster regional stability,
combat crime, exchange visits, and conduct training and rehabilitation programs
in light of the increasing instability in many regional countries.
“All countries must
join hands to mitigate the effects of instability and achieve global security
and safety,” he said.
The two countries have
strong relations in the various fields, he noted, calling for achieving the
aspirations of the two countries’ peoples.
For his part, the French envoy affirmed Jordan’s role in
maintaining stability and security in the region, thanks to its wise leadership
and people’s rejection of violence and extremism. The ambassador pointed to the
importance of increasing cooperation programs to serve joint interests.
