Irbid market fire extinguished, suspected arsonists arrested

AMMAN  — Firefighters extinguished a fire that broke out in an Irbid market for secondhand clothing Wednesday morning, according to a spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.اضافة اعلان

Several stores were damaged by the fire, but no injuries were reported, according to the spokesperson.

Disputes between a group of individuals and the owner of a store in the marketplace led to the arson, as determined by forensic investigations, the spokesman said, adding that there have already been three arrests, and a fourth suspect is being sought.
