The Jordanian Bar Association said Israel does not have any legal or judicial authority to prosecute the
Jordanian MP Imad Al-Adwan, as it is an occupying power on an Arab land.

It added that any action Israel takes because of this as illegal and null, according to AmmanNet.
The association added in a statement that its council has decided to instruct Jerusalemite lawyers who are members of the association to follow the events and provide the necessary support
Adwan and to maintain contact until he is released unconditionally.
Call for immediate release The JBA affirmed its support for the government's efforts to put pressure on Israel to release
Lower House deputy Adwan immediately and travel back to Jordan.
The association also strongly denied the “false Zionist narrative which corresponds to Israeli misinformation” about the Jordanian MP who is well-known for his patriotic stances towards the Palestinian people.
