Ramallah - Israeli occupation forces detained 16 Palestinians on Thursday across various West Bank areas, including Nablus, Hebron, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Qalqilya.

The arrests were reportedly accompanied by threats, assaults on detainees and their families, and acts of vandalism in citizens’ homes, according to a joint statement by the Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners Society.
The statement revealed that since the onset of the war on Gaza, described as a campaign of "extermination and comprehensive aggression," nearly 11,700 Palestinians have been detained in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
It further noted that the occupation forces are also targeting civilians in northern Gaza, including women, children, medical personnel, and journalists, subjecting them to enforced disappearances.
The scale of arrests from Gaza remains unclear, but estimates indicate they number in the thousands, with specialized institutions struggling to document the cases.
