Israeli Plan to Build 9,000 New Settler Units in Jerusalem

Occupied Jerusalem – The Hebrew newspaper "Haaretz" reported in its edition this morning, Thursday, that Israel has proposed plans to establish a series of new settlement outposts in East Jerusalem.اضافة اعلان

According to Haaretz, the so-called "Central Planning and Building Committee" discussed plans that include the construction of a religious school for Haredim in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem.

The Israeli newspaper pointed out that the settlement plans include the construction of 9,000 settlement units in Atarot, near the separation wall and close to the Palestinian village of Kafr Aqab.

It also confirmed that the Israeli plans propose the establishment of a new neighborhood with 1,100 settlement units near the village of Sharafat, south of occupied East Jerusalem.
