RAMALLAH – Israeli occupation forces arrested 20 Palestinians in the West Bank today, including a child and former prisoners.
The Palestinian Prisoners' Club and the Palestinian Authority's Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs stated in a joint release that the arrests occurred in the provinces of Hebron, Nablus, Bethlehem, Ramallah, and Qalqilya.

The statement noted that the occupation forces continue extensive raids and abuses during arrest campaigns, accompanied by severe beatings and threats against detainees and their families, as well as widespread destruction of citizens' homes.
It pointed out that the number of arrests since the onset of the ongoing genocide and comprehensive aggression against our people since October 7 of last year has risen to more than 11,600 Palestinians from the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
It is worth mentioning that these figures pertain to arrests in the West Bank and do not include Gaza, where the number of detainees is estimated to be in the thousands.
