Istisqaa prayers held on Friday

AMMAN (JNews) — According to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, a prayer for rain (Salat Al-Istisqaa) was held across the Kingdom’s mosques on Friday. اضافة اعلان

The Muslim community performs the prayers to revive the Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, and ask God for rain due to the delay of its presence this season.  

On Wednesday, the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs called on the Muslim community, including the Awqaf managers, preachers, and people in general, to take part in the rain prayers.
