The meeting discussed ways to provide immediate healthcare assistance to the residents of the Gaza Strip, noting that this follows the announcement of a new emergency funding package of 10 million euros by the Foreign Minister during his recent mission to Palestine and Israel, after the ceasefire agreement came into effect.

Several Italian universities presented a project proposal aimed at supporting the needs of mothers and children in Gaza, establishing information technology systems to facilitate continuous medical consultations and telemedicine.

Additionally, campaigns have been organized to collect donations for funds, medicines, and medical equipment to be sent to workers in the Gaza Strip.
