The leadership clarified in the announcement that the applications
will be considered at a later time, in the event that the JAF needs to recruit
holders of bachelor's degrees in certain disciplines.
The leadership also indicated that some of its needs include those
in engineering disciplines, general mechanics, and computers and
electronics.
The statement added that submissions will open on November 15, for
two weeks.
Applicants should have Jordanian nationality, be born January 1,
1996 or later, be at least 165cm tall, and be physically fit.
The conditions also stipulate that an applicant should not be a
previous member of the JAF or any other security agency, either in a military
or civil capacity. Those with a previous conviction, either a felony or
misdemeanor involving theft, embezzlement, forgery and bribery, bad credit or
any crime that violates public morals cannot apply.
The announcement also noted that an applicant’s average in high
school should not be no less than 80 percent and in the scientific branch only.
Required documents include an original university attestation,
original university transcript, or the equivalency of an original non-Jordanian
university degree from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific
Research, in addition to an original transcript from a non-Jordanian high, as
well as a number of family-related documents.
The announcement made it clear that the General Command would not
consider any request that violates their announced conditions, or lacks the
required documents.
