The air drop operation was conducted by two
C130 aircraft belonging to the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF), an aircraft
belonging to Egypt, one from the US, another from Germany, and a fifth from
Singapore.
The international participation in the air
drop operation is part of Jordan's efforts to mobilize further international
support in delivering food aid to the population suffering from difficult
living conditions due to the ongoing Israeli war, particularly during the
blessed month of Ramadan.
The JAF affirmed their commitment to continue
sending humanitarian and medical aid through an airlift, either through aid
aircraft from Marka Airport to El Arish International Airport, airdrop
operations in the Gaza Strip, or land aid convoys.
