AMMAN — President of the Jordanian Businessmen Association
(JBA), Hamdi Tabbaa, announced that the association will organize the fourth
international conference for French-speaking businessmen on May 15–16.

The event will invite members of the association to take
part, with a focus on enhancing the JBA's economic role and serving its
members, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Tabbaa made the announcement during the annual general
assembly of the JBA.
The assembly highlighted the association's annual report and
its activities over the past year, which included organizing economic and
investment forums, holding business meetings and panel discussions, signing
several memoranda of understanding and cooperation with counterparts at the
local and international community levels, and meeting ambassadors from Arab and
foreign countries.
Achieving goalsTabbaa pointed out that the JBA boasts a group of
businessmen representing the most important economic sectors with great added
value, who give an advantage to the association.
He emphasized the association's commitment to achieving its
goals and enhancing its economic role in service to its members.
The general assembly also addressed several topics on the
agenda, including the report of the Board of Directors on the work of the
assembly for the year 2022, the report of the legal auditor, approving the
financial statements for the year ending on December 31, 2022, electing the
legal auditor for the fiscal year 2023, approving the work plan and estimated
budget for 2023, approving the financial by-laws of the JBA, approving the
bylaws for supplies, and approving the proposed amendments to the articles of
association.
