JD3 million has been allocated for development projects in Wadi Rum

AMMAN — Director of the Wadi Rum region, Saleh Al-Nuaimat, confirmed that that Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority has allocated JD3 million for the establishment of several development projects in Wadi Rum. اضافة اعلان

In a press release on Monday, Al-Nuaimat said that infrastructure projects will be implemented, including the expansion of the tourist road leading to the Wadi Rum Reserve.

Moreover, he highlighted that there has been a significant increase in tourism activity in Wadi Rum, indicating that the reservation rates in the camp have exceeded 80 percent capacity with 350,000 local and foreign visitors so far this year.
