AMMAN — The
Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) has announced that it has collected JD3
million for the reconstruction of Gaza so far. During an emergency meeting
hosted by the Arab Engineers Union, Engineer Ahmed Samara Al Zoubi, the
President of JEA, called upon all Arab organizations to establish a dedicated
Arab engineering body for Gaza's reconstruction. He also proposed that the
organization's headquarters be situated within the Arab Engineers Union.

Additionally,
Zoubi discussed the initiatives of Jordanian professional unions, which have
been actively engaged since October 7, 2023, in establishing a solidarity
program with the Palestinian people. These initiatives have included medical
support campaigns, the dispatch of supplies, and the deployment of volunteers
to serve in the Gaza Strip.
