The Board of Commissioners of the
Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) issued instructions for fines to be collected for violations of airport safety

Fines should not
be less than JD1,000, and not more than JD500,000 provided that each violation
is listed in the violations records, in which each violator’s name, number,
violation date, and national number is logged.
Airport safety
standards violations are classified into three categories, namely carrying out
work inside the vicinity of airports without a CARC license, in violation of
the Civil Aviation Law.
The second
category stipulates violating the law by an individual exceeding the limits of
the CARC license by committing an act within the airports, or areas surrounding
them.
As for the third
category, it stipulated violations of the law by committing an act, or
refraining from an act that would undermine the airports’ security and safety,
air traffic or ground movement.
