Mafraq- CEO of Jordanian Duty Free Shops (JDFS), Haitham Majali, checked on Jordanian duty free centers at the Jaber border crossing with Syria.
During the tour, he said the company seeks to rehabilitate Jaber duty free centers to be ready to keep up with the "active" movement of travelers.
Majali also referred to the possibility of displaying various duty-free products and goods and supporting them to serve travelers after stability of the movement of passengers and citizens between Jordan and Syria.
The duty free markets at Jaber border crossing are one of the "historically vital" centers for the large flow of visitors, he said.
Majali added that the centers' rehabilitation process will focus on carrying out all maintenance construction works, interior equipment, and exhibition halls.
Under the plan, he said facilitations will be made to provide the "best" services and secure all types of goods that meet travelers' needs, which are a "right in international law for duty-free markets globally."
