JEPCO’s slow response to repairs to be investigated

AMMAN — On Friday, Chief Commissioner of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission Hussein Laboun said that the Jordan Electric Power Company (JEPCO) is being slow in repairs resulting from the current weather conditions, according to Alghad.اضافة اعلان

Laboun indicated that a state of emergency was announced and circulated to all companies on Wednesday. Despite that, the JEPCO’s work hasn’t been satisfactory in responding to repairs.

He pointed out that JEPCO will be held accountable, as per the conditions stipulated in their licenses and applicable performance standards.
