JFDA denies pulling drugs from market

AMMAN — Director-General of the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) Nizar Mhaidat denied pulling out drugs from the market, according to Ad-Dustour daily. Mhaidat said on Wednesday, that the JFDA seized some material which entered Jordan illegally, but insisted it was not drugs. He said drugs are usually withdrawn if the JFDA determines danger, or impurities harmful to human health.
