The operation was conducted in partnership with the
Public Security Directorate, the Royal Department for Environmental and Tourism
Protection, and the Ministry of Environment.
JFDA Director-General Nizar Al-Mhaidat said in a
press statement on Sunday that inspection teams seized the expired materials
during a factory inspection.
The teams recorded several violations related to
poor manufacturing conditions and lack of adherence to baseline health
requirements and JFDA standards, endangering public health.
The administration has initiated the necessary legal
proceedings against those implicated in the case, Mhaidat said, noting that
oversight and inspection teams continue to carry out inspections to ensure that
cosmetic manufacturers comply with health requirements and production
standards.
The JFDA called on citizens to register any
complaints, observations, or inquiries through its free complaints line 117114,
the e-mail
[email protected], or the WhatsApp number 0795632000.
