AMMAN — Brorphine, Metonitazene, and Eutylone have been classified as narcotics and psychotropic substances by the Jordanian Food and Drug Administration (JFDA), and are now covered by the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law No. 23 of 2016, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

JFDA Director-General Nizar Mhaidat said the decision was taken after having conducted scientific research into the substances and their narcotic effects on humans, which calls for precaution and control in order to prevent their use for illegal purposes.

He added that the decision is consistent with an International Narcotics Control Board’s recommendation, and stems from the JFDA’s commitment to reviewing narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances issued globally on regular basis.
