AMMAN —
The Jordan Food and Drug Administration’s (JFDA) inspection teams have seized
4,500 imitation chocolate jars copied from a famous brand, and 150 kilograms of
raw material, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Director-General Nizar Al-Mheidat said in a statement on Monday that the
product was caught at an unlicensed workshop in an apartment, before being
distributed in the local market. “The JFDA turned over the workshop’s owner to
the concerned authorities for legal action,” he noted.
