This marks the conclusion of a three-year housing support project aimed at improving the living conditions of vulnerable Syrian refugees.
The initiative provided housing and financial support to families where the head or a member suffers from debilitating spinal cord or muscular ailments, which hinder their ability to work and sustain their households. The program focused on ensuring a stable environment for refugees facing extreme challenges.
Hussein Shibli, Secretary-General of the JHCO, stated on Wednesday that the program's third and final year reflects a concerted effort to enhance the living standards of Syrian refugees. He emphasized the ongoing cooperation with KSrelief to fulfill the program’s objectives effectively.
Naif Shammari, Director of KSrelief’s Jordan branch, highlighted the Center's commitment to supporting projects that prioritize the needs of vulnerable groups, including the elderly and people with disabilities.
He reiterated KSrelief’s dedication to improving the economic and social well-being of refugees unable to secure employment due to physical limitations.
