AMMAN —
Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) recently announced that a plane, carrying 12 tonnes of food items, will be
handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent for transport through the Rafah
crossing and subsequent distribution by responsible authorities in the Gaza
Strip.

Hussein Al-Shibli, Secretary-General of
JHCO,
mentioned plans to escalate aid deliveries to Gaza in the coming days. To date,
five planes have been dispatched, transporting medical supplies, medicines, and
food items to the affected population, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
Al-Shibli revealed that Jordan has sent over
100 tonnes of medical and food
supplies to Gaza since October 7.
"We are actively working on providing
direct assistance within the Gaza Strip. In recent days, we've assisted over
40,000 beneficiaries with food packages, health parcels, and baby essentials.
This aid is distributed daily in collaboration with organizations operating
within Gaza," added Al-Shibli.
