The department also cautioned of slippery roads due to rain and low visibility as a result of fog formation and desert dust.

Jordan is witnessing cold temperatures and partly cloudy skies today, with rain falling in the northern, central, and eastern parts of the Kingdom. Strong northwesterly gusts are also kicking up dust.

At night, chances of precipitation diminish as the weather is expected to gradually stabilize and wind speed and cloud cover to decrease. However, temperatures will remain cold, especially over the mountain heights.

Friday morning is predicted to bring sunny, pleasant weather and rising mercury levels in most regions of the Kingdom.
