JNC said in a statement Monday that the conference
was organized by Romania’s nursing and midwifery syndicate.
JNC President HRH Princess
Muna Al-Hussein, in a
speech delivered on her behalf by her consultant for health and social
development Rowaida Al-Maaitah, congratulated the syndicate and the attendees
and wished them further success and progress.
New regional and global health challenges require an
enhanced leadership and administration role in nursing, the princess said. She
called for a “sound investment” in nurses and midwives and to reshape education
and the practice system to boost efficiency.
The JNC delegation discussed cooperation during a visit to
Cotroceni National Museum and signed a memorandum of understanding with the
Romanian syndicate to exchange expertise.
