AMMAN — On Friday, in coordination with its sub-committees
nationwide,
Jordan Pharmacists Association (JPA) forbade any owner of a
pharmaceutical establishment from entering into an agreement with any party
that was aiming to deliver medicine locally without obtaining the association’s
prior approval.

In its decision, the JPA affirmed that it will deal with
this issue with the "utmost" firmness, and will not tolerate
violators, based on its national and professional responsibilities, in
implementation of the law's provisions and legislation governing the
pharmaceutical profession, Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.
