AMMAN — The head of the Jordan Press Association's (JPA) elections committee, Mohammad Al-Tal, on Friday announced the formation of the
JPA’s new council, according to Al-Ghad News.

The council members selected are Ibrahim Qubeilat, Ali Fraihat, Zain Al-Din Khalil, Adnan Bariyah, Amjad Sunaid, Bilal Al-Aqayleh, Jamil Al-Barmawi, and Muwaffaq Kamal.
Jamal Ishteiwi was announced as the vice president of the JPA after gaining 403 votes, while Rakan Saaydeh took the position of the President of the JPA for the second time consecutively.
Saaydeh gained 321 out of 947 votes in the
elections.
The JPA’s elections took place yesterday, where a high turnout by the attendees was witnessed.
