AMMAN — In 2022, the
Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company (JPRC) and its
subsidiaries made record profits of JD133 million pre-tax and approximately JD105
million after tax, according to Chairman of the JPRC Board Alaa Al-Bataineh.

These
profits, Bataineh said, are a result of the
company’s strategic plans, which it
has “pursued efficiently to achieve its vision and goals, reflecting both
stability and strength”, Ammon News reported.
Bataineh
was speaking during the the 67th regular meeting of the
JPRC General Assembly on Wednesday.
During
the meeting, the assembly also approved a suggestion by the Board of Directors
to distribute 50 percent of the company’s dividends to shareholders.
