JRMS airlifts sick Gazan girl for treatment in Jordan

AMMAN — Jordanian Royal Medical Services (JRMS) on Wednesday evacuated Duaa Abu Issa, a sick girl from the Gaza Strip to Amman, to receive treatment at King Hussein Medical City (KHMC), as part of the continuous Royal directives to provide assistance to the people of this coastal enclave, to alleviate their suffering, the Jordan News Agency Petra, reported.اضافة اعلان

The patient’s medical report, which was sent to Jordanian field hospital Gaza 71, showed that the girl suffers from frequent headaches, blurred vision, and a benign brain mass at the pituitary gland, and needs to undergo endoscopic surgery to remove the tumor.

The girl arrived at KHMC to have her health condition followed up on and receive treatment from a specialized medical team, JRMS said in a statement.

The patient’s parents expressed thanks and deep appreciation for this “generous” humanitarian step, praising the medical and humanitarian efforts made by Jordan Armed Forces in the Gaza Strip for years.
