Jordan TV, officially known as the Jordan Radio and
Television Corporation, is the Kingdom’s state broadcaster, which was formed in
1985, when the two national institutions, the radio and TV stations were
merged.
Balqar pointed out in a press statement Friday that
JRTV’s doors are wide open for all Jordanians, and that its vision is to convey
the message of the Jordanian state, its institutions, and individuals, with its
qualitative legacy in what it has presented and will present.
He said JRTV’s channels and platforms will always
serve the Kingdom’s voice and image locally and internationally, and contribute
— as it always promised — to developing it.
He stressed that the statements circulated on some
social media platforms are morally and legally unacceptable, and those who
spread such misinformation will be legally pursued.
