AMMAN — Jordan tourism board, organized a workshop for Jordanian tourism and travel agencies representatives with their Nigerian travel agencies counterparts on Thursday.

The holding of this workshop is part of a visit organized by the JTB for a delegation of Nigerian tourism and travel agencies representatives to serve the Kingdom’s tourism promotion plans in the Nigerian market. The visit included an exploratory tour of agencies in the Kingdom, the JTB said in a statement.
JTB Managing Director Abdul Razzaq Arabiat stressed that Nigerian tourism and travel agencies in Jordan are a significant opportunity to promote tourism destinations in the Kingdom and market religious, medical, and educational tourism, which receive the attention of Nigerian travel agencies.
Also, he indicated Jordan has a real opportunity to attract tourists from Nigeria during the current period, pointing out that attracting Nigerian tourists came within the authority’s plan for the current year, which opened up new markets.
