Japanese Foreign Minister to visit Jordan to discuss Gaza

AMMAN – The Minister of Foreign Affairs ofvJapan, Yoko Kamikawa, stated that she is expected to meet with her counterparts from Jordan, Palestine, and the Israeli occupation during her visit to the region, according to Khaberni. اضافة اعلان

Kamikawa told journalists, "I will explain Japan's position on the conflict and exchange views with the countries and regions involved with the aim of achieving an early de-escalation of the situation."

She pointed out that "Gaza is in a critical situation, and it breaks my heart to think of the loss of innocent lives," confirming that Japan will continue diplomatic efforts to help calm the situation in Gaza.

Regarding her meeting with her Palestinian counterpart, she expressed hope that they would discuss how to respond to the serious humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and directly express Japan's readiness to continue providing assistance.

She also announced that all ten Japanese citizens and their eight Palestinian family members who wished to leave Gaza have been evacuated to Egypt and are in good health.
