AMMAN —
Secretary-General of the Ministry of Youth Hussein Al-Jbour met with the youth
taking part in the 9th meeting of joint
Jordan-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)
Working Group in the youth work, which was organized by the Saudi Ministry of
Sports in the city of Jeddah, with the participation of Jordanian youth,
according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Addressing the
meeting, Jbour stressed the importance of youth dialogue, which reflects the
“deep-rooted” Arab relations as an opportunity to communicate and exchange
expertise, wishing Arab youth success in the field of youth work.
Jbour also
listened to Arab youth’s aspirations, and their key priorities at the Arab
level, focusing on matters of interest to Arab youth work, according to a
ministry statement on Sunday.
He hailed the
“distinguished” level at which the Gulf Youth Empowerment Program and the
important topics discussed on the youth side, stressing Jordan’s “deep-rooted,
brotherly” relations with Saudi Arabia, GCC countries, and
Morocco in the
various fields.
Jbour lauded Saudi
Arabia’s efforts in inviting Jordanian youth to participate in the program,
which is an “important” opportunity for Arab youngsters.
The program is within the
scope of joint pan-Arab action to improve youth conditions related to their
social, cultural, economic, environmental and health aspects, and raise youth
awareness to engage in decision-making and take initiatives to achieve
prosperity at all levels.
