Jerash cafes closed for violating ministry regulations

AMMAN — The Directorate of Health Affairs in Jerash Governorate recently announced the closure of 3 cafes for allegedly violating regulations from the Ministry of Health.اضافة اعلان

The directorate added that it is continuing its inspection campaign to make sure the Ministry of Heath’s protocols are being enforced and that smoking argileh is prohibited to closed spaces.

According to Protocol No. 15, issued by the Ministry of Labor, restaurants and cafes are only allowed to open and serve argileh at 50 percent capacity. Earlier this month, the ministry announced that cafes would be allowed to serve argileh under certain conditions, starting June 15.
