AMMAN — The 31st session of the joint
Egyptian-Jordanian High Committee is set to hold its meetings in Amman on
Sunday, August 6, led by Jordan's minister of industry, trade, and supply, Youssef
Al-Shammali, and Egypt's minister of international cooperation, Rania
Al-Mashat.

The technical meetings were attended by
representatives from both countries, including Dana Zoubi, the
secretary-general of the
Jordanian Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply, and
Tarek El-Sherbini, the advisor to the minister of international cooperation in
Egypt, overseeing Arab and African cooperation, Al-Saa News reported.
Throughout the day, the committee held
intensive sectoral sessions where they discussed bilateral cooperation between
the two countries, mechanisms to enhance collaboration in various fields, as
well as the tripartite framework that includes Iraq. Additionally, they
addressed the quadripartite partnership, which involves the
United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, in addition to Jordan and Egypt.
Zoubi emphasized the significant importance
of the committee meetings as they constitute the most substantial platform for
implementing agreements and documents that frame the cooperation between the
two countries. She noted that the technical committee particularly focused on
various economic cooperation aspects.
