Joint Jordanian-Saudi drill activities concludes

AMMAN — The joint Jordanian-Saudi drill “Sahab 4” on Wednesday concluded its activities, which kicked off days earlier in Saudi Arabia, with the aim of enhancing the participating troops’ preparation and response levels, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. Speaking at the closing ceremony, Saudi Drill Director Brig. Gen. Moqbel Bin Mohammad Al Harbi said the exercise aimed to enhance military training collaboration and develop rapid response, as well as share expertise in the integration of weaponry. Head of the Jordanian delegation, Col. Khaled Shamayleh, said the exercise sought to enhance cooperation, exchange expertise between the Jordanian and Saudi armies and bolster their training levels. “Sahab 4”, a two-week military drill, featured chemical reconnaissance, samples collection, decontamination, and medical evacuation using different scenarios.
