AMMAN — Jordan came in 11th place amongst
Arab countries and 124th overall in the 2022 World
Happiness Index,
the latest update shows.

Among Arabs, Bahrain ranked first for the second consecutive
year, while the UAE came second as the 25th
happiest globally. Saudi
Arabia came third among Arabs and 26th globally, Khaberni reported.
For the sixth consecutive year, Finland topped the list of
the world's
happiest countries.
The Scandinavian country and its neighbor, Denmark, scored
very well in the measures used by the report. Those include GDP per capita,
social support in times of turmoil, low corruption, high social trust,
generosity in society, caring for each other, and freedom to make key life
decisions.
The UN runs a global initiative named, Sustainable
Development Solutions Network, which publish the
World Happiness Index Report every year.
The first report was published in the year 2012.
