In a press conference on Wednesday, the
JCC Board of Directors appealed to chambers of commerce, urging them to keep up their
efforts to support the people of Gaza. The board suggested that the chambers
should organize an open day event at the JCC headquarters, in collaboration
with the
Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), to collect donations
from the commercial sector.
The Board has urged the Jordanian, Arab, and Islamic
business community to refrain from promoting and
advertising their products through social media platforms that have a bias towards Israel, suggesting that
a portion of their sales should be dedicated towards supporting Gaza.
