Jordan strongly condemned on Tuesday the incursion and bombing of Koya town, west of Daraa in Syria, by Israeli forces, which resulted in the death and injury of several people. The attack was described as a blatant violation of international law and a flagrant infringement on Syria's sovereignty and unity, further escalating tensions and contributing to more conflict in the region.

The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sufian Qudah, emphasized Jordan's absolute rejection and condemnation of Israel's ongoing attacks on Syrian territory, which represent a clear violation of the 1974 disengagement agreement between Israel and Syria.
Qudah warned of the grave consequences of further escalating tensions in the region, reiterating Jordan's support for Syria's security, stability, and sovereignty.
