The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the recent Israeli aggression on various areas of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of several people. This constitutes a blatant violation of international law and a flagrant infringement on Syria's sovereignty and unity, representing a dangerous escalation that will only contribute to further conflict and tension in the region.

The official spokesperson for the Ministry, Ambassador Dr. Sufyan al-Qudah, reaffirmed the Kingdom's complete rejection and strong condemnation of the ongoing Israeli assaults on Syrian territory, in clear violation of the 1974 disengagement agreement between Israel and Syria. He reiterated Jordan’s full solidarity with Syria in its security, stability, and sovereignty.
Ambassador al-Qudah called on the international community to assume its legal and ethical responsibilities and compel Israel to cease its provocative, illegal aggression on Syria and to end the occupation of part of its land. He emphasized the need for Israel to adhere to international law and relevant international legitimacy decisions that mandate respect for the sovereignty of states and non-interference in their internal affairs.
