Jordan Denounces Israeli Knesset's Anti-Palestinian State Proposal
Amman - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the Israeli Knesset’s approval of a proposal aimed at opposing and preventing the establishment of a Palestinian state, stressing that this decision constitutes a serious violation of international law and a challenge to the international community.اضافة اعلان

The ministry’s official spokesperson, Sufian Qudah, stated that all decisions and measures taken by Israel, as the occupying power, are invalid and must be repealed. He emphasized that these actions do not alter the reality of Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territories and do not affect the application of the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949, which pertains to the protection of civilians during times of war. This includes the Palestinian and other Arab territories occupied by Israel since 1967, including Jerusalem.

Qudah underscored that Israel’s continued efforts to deny the Palestinians their inalienable right to an independent and sovereign state along the June 4, 1967, lines, with occupied Jerusalem as its capital, undermine regional security and peace.

He called for effective international action to deter these measures and to halt Israel’s ongoing aggression against the Palestinians. This includes stopping the war crimes committed in the Gaza Strip, where civilians seeking refuge in UNRWA schools and shelter centers are being targeted.
