AMMAN — On the sidelines of the 78th
session of the
UN General Assembly in New York on September 23, a meeting took place between the
foreign ministers of Jordan, Egypt, and Iraq to discuss trilateral relations between
the three countries.

The foreign ministers agreed on the
importance of completing ongoing projects between them and introducing new ones
in various fields,
including electricity,
renewable energy, telecommunications,
trade, industry, transportation, health,
pharmaceuticals, housing, and
reconstruction. They also discussed areas related to culture, tourism, youth,
sports, as well as security and defense cooperation, Ammon News reported.
Regional security
They emphasized the need for regional
security and stability, with a focus on the Palestinian issue. They also
discussed efforts to find a solution to the Syrian crisis through the Arab Ministerial Contact Group.
The foreign ministers will continue to
coordinate in preparation for the next trilateral summit in Cairo.
