AMMAN — Tareq Abdul Rahman, general manager of Jordan Gateway
Company, said that they have completed 60 percent of the first phase of
maintenance and construction on the
Jordan Gate Towers.

In a statement, he highlighted that the first phase is
expected to be completed by the end of October/November, Hala News reported.
Maintenance and preparationsPhase one included the maintenance and closure of the
facades of the towers, selected demolition works, and cleaning and removal of
debris from external yards, roofs, and
all floors of the project.
Abdul Rahman pointed out that the maintenance works are
ongoing in the northern tower, where they are coating the iron in preparation
for a general repainting, as well as assembling the glass facades.
These works are in preparation of the second phase of the
project, which will include early interior design, internal partitioning, and
necessary electromechanical works to convert the northern tower from an office
tower to a residential tower consisting of luxury apartments and a commercial
mall.
Municipality of Greater Amman entered as a partnerIn February of last year, the Municipality of Greater Amman
decided to resume work on the Jordan Gate project by entering as a partner,
acquiring 31 percent shares of the
Jordan Gateway Company.
This step came within the framework of the government's
commitment to enhancing the national economy and working to succeed existing
investments and complete stalled projects.
