Jordan, Kenya form business council to boost cooperation

AMMAN — On Monday, the Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) and the Kenyan Watra Africa Trade and Investment Advisory Agency signed an agreement to establish a Jordanian-Kenyan business council to strengthen relations between the business communities in the two countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.   The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Jordanian-Kenyan economic forum, which was organized by the association in cooperation with the Jordanian embassy in Nairobi to enhance economic, trade, and investment cooperation and develop joint action.   According to a JBA statement, the council aims to encourage cooperation between the Jordanian and Kenyan business communities to increase the volume of trade exchange, expand the framework for economic activities, exchange investment information, conduct visits of trade delegations, and organize investment forums and conferences to enable business people to network.
